In your email it does say what to expect, although what those tests are normally involves some Role play work, maths & English tests, some team building stuff and a formal interview I think although this was for a different (but similar) role.

Normally just a basic maths test based on what you'll be expected to do on the job, although I don't want to give too much away as I too am attending that assessment.

I went for the same assessment recently with GWR at Bristol
They normally have around 20 turn up for both the morning and afternoon assessments,they then just chooses a couple to go through to the one to one interview process
First it's introduce yourself to the group then split into groups of a sinking ship secrino,don't be a leader or follower just be your self and contribute when you feel you have to.
