I'd certainly consider running a spell and grammar check on any online test they might see!!!! Just sayin'.

I think for this particular role, that won't be necessary. A spellchecker is provided on the forms at the application stage.

Online testing is more likely to be multiple choice psychometric tests to establish whether or not the applicant has sufficient numerical and literacy skills to perform the role.

davidbarker09, I suggest you have a look at the numerical reasoning practice test on the SHL website. That will be a good place to start. Calculations involving percentage changes, proportions and ratios often come up - you should be ok so long as you can do these with agility and accuracy. Practice makes perfect :)

> A personality test (statements which you must agree or disagree with and claim that you are most like or most unlike, such as "I work well with others")

> A timed maths test. Mostly simple arithmetic but with some twists, such as "24 x ? + 344 = 3014"

Best of luck!

The assessment will consist of a multiple choice questionnaire based upon your personality and working experiences, there are no real right or wrong answer. Just answer them which you feel best reflect your working attributes.

As illustrated by Michael.Y the calculations are very much as mention in the above. Your allowed to use a calculator, but each question is timed along with a timed period in which to answer.

Each test will probably be conducted online. I've recently passed these assessments for a position as a customer host then progressed through the whole recruitment process to land a position as a Customer Host.

Don't be fooled by the practice questions, they'll just be an indication in which the equations will be displayed on the screen. There bear no reflection on the difficulty of the real eqautions you'll be asked on the actual assessment.
