Hi folks, I am looking for a bit of advice here, I applied for a trainee driver position with ScotRail a year and a half ago, passed my assessment but failed at the interview stage, what I was told was that the results of the assesment stand for 3 years from the day of the tests, but does this stand for just ScotRail or does this apply to all TOCs throughout the UK as I have applied to another trainee position with another TOC.

thanks in advance

Your results last for 5 years with the opc. All TOC’s have different timescales for how long they last for them. If that makes sense. Xc is 5 years. Northern is 3 I believe!!

Okay thank you very much, it’s XC I’ve applied for but they didn’t ask during the application form if I had previously attended the assesment centre

I'm fairly sure Northern is also 5 now.
