Tickets are now on sale for the 'Art Deco Special' runs on the 21st July with the LT Museum's preserved 1938 stock. As previously advertised, it is running along the Northern and Piccadilly lines, although these are as two separate trips rather than utilising any crossovers between the two.
The first trip takes in the Northern line and runes from Edgware to Edgware via the Kennington Loop, with the second on the Piccadilly running from Cockfosters to Ealing Broadway. The first run starts 11.30 and the other at 17.26. Tickets for both are £20 each, and can be bought from the LT Museum website.
To be honest, I'm a little bit disappointed at the offering - I was expecting it to be more of a day long excursion and taking in the full extent of both lines, as well as the connections between the two, but as it'll be my first trip on the '38 stock on both lines it's definitely still something I'll be going out for.
