Arson attack at Rushden

Haven`t seen this posted yet but a Mk1 BSK has gone up in flames at Rushden following an arson attack. Here`s a clip YouTube showing the damage,it’s now a complete shell! The host has a look around the remains of the coach and speculates about the cause of the fire.

Read about it a couple of days ago. Very sad. As the guy said on the video, Rushden has a problem with kids at the moment. Not holding my breath, but I hope the Police stop them before anything else happens. I wonder how many MK1 BSK's are left in preservation?

Not the first time Rushden has been targetted - 7 years ago they lost an ex United Counties Bristol RE coach as well as other items being damaged.

Another heritage outfit has been visited by the arson vandals over the weekend. Not sure if the Bristol RE is salvageable - the bubble car doesn't look too bad. More mindless vandalism...
