Alamadeilla station in Salamanca only seems to cater for arriving trains with them leaving empty and starting from the nearby main station in Salamanca.

This has made me curious - does anyone know of any other stations that are arrival-only?

Salamanca Alamedilla is only ‘temporarily’ in this state. The main part of the halt closed temporarily a few years ago for changes needed for the Salamanca-Vilar Formoso electrification farce. The temporary arrivals-only bit is the northern tip of the platform IIRC. Soon, defined in Adif terms, it will reopen properly.

Hendaye and Irun were arrival-only for international connecting trains, each terminating service ran empty back to the other. There was a recent thread about it on this forum.

Indeed. I believe that was a long standing arrangement for the French/Spanish border.

But of course doesn't meet my criteria because there were other services one could board to travel across the border. And indeed also in the opposite direction.

Salamanca Alamedilla has been arrival only for ages, but soon it will cease to be the case, with services towards Valladolid and Madrid via Ávila picking up passengers.

Having now been there, I couldn't work out where the rest of the station might have been, and it was even less obvious where they could build more.

The track disappears into a (cut and cover?) tunnel just south of the current platform.

manulla junction might fit the parameters
I wouldn't have thought so, you can board trains at Manulla junction, you just can't exit or enter the station from outside, only arrive and then depart by train. (Similar to Smallbrook Junction)

IE used to call it "a passenger transfer point"

Mind you, overthinking it, any station could be that.
