Arriva trains qualified drivers position

Has anyone applied for the recent arriva trains Wales qualified drivers position and if so have you heard anything back yet?

I think he means just forget about it for a bit once you’ve applied as these things can take an awfully long time.

Ahhh i understand now hahaha .I'm sorry , I have had some people give nasty comments on here before on certain things so I highly apolagise for taking things the wrong way haha .

Not negative at all. Being already qualified you should know how long winded it can all be. Best to apply and just forget about it. My uncle applied hasn't heard yet

Haha I'm awfully sorry it's me reading things wrong lol. I have had a long week lol. I defiently do know how long drawn out the process is haha. It's all worth it though

I havent applied im a conductor, i was talking to the head of training on Friday, she said they have done the first sift and are currently reading through the 800 applications that are left!

They might have got 800 applications for trainee positions, but I very much doubt 800 qualified drivers have applied!

Just thought I would give a heads up. A friend who applied said his has moved to "assessment" last week but he hasn't had any email correspondence to state otherwise
