Arriva Shires Fleet Information

Does anyone have any up to date fleet information for the Arriva depots in Buckinghamshire? Olympian H197GRO seems to have moved from MK to High Wycombe, I'd like to know if that's temporary or permanent and if anything has come the other way. I'd also like to know the status of the remaining Olympians at Aylesbury depot.

dunno, but they do seem to have some quite ageing buses in use in MK (plus some newish ones)

Oldest now is a P-reg dart; Arriva MK's fleet is 100% low floor excluding that one Olympian.

Why is it nobody knows anything about Buckinghamshire's bus scene? I'm sure if I'd posted this same question about any other area, I'd have set off a discussion.

Perhaps because this is primarily a rail forum?

If you look on Google groups there is a Beds Herts Bucks bus group - and I'm sure one of the contributors there will be able to answer your questions.

Thanks guys, that's very helpful! Yeah it's a rail forum, but I still get the impression it'd be different if it was any other area of the country I'd asked about. Aylesbury and district seems to be one massive forgotten bus backwater.

Not Aylesbury, but it looks like one of MK's Solos cremated itself yesterday.....

Yeah that was about half a mile from my house! I don't know if others have observed this but 'cremations' seem to happen to Arriva vehicles far more often than any other major operator.
