It last happened with a Plaxton Paladin about 15 years ago too, so not just a Citaro thing.

Quite a few things have to go wrong before the bus rolls away if stopped on the halt brake. The bus has to be isolated (idle shutdown + battery guards may do this without driver input), it has to be isolated for a few minutes and the relay that buzzes when isolated with the handbrake off has to be disconnected for the driver to not realise.

They’ve changed the colour of JM recently anyway, the 400s are in the correct shade.. but yes it’s a much sharper colour, does look better
There are also a few VDL's and Streetlites running around with the odd panel in the new darker blue, presumably where accident repairs have been made.
It's a much better colour IMHO.

For use on delegate contract duties during the Labour Party Conference. Also Arriva North East DM-01 MD.
My pic, below, shows them passing on Berry Street, Liverpool, yesterday.
4537 is the latest ex Hopper to re-enter service in the new darker version of Journeymark. Bike rack removed and unlike the others, NSA systems have been implemented.

Yeah I'm sure they had the older style sapphire announcements that were very laggy.
Yes it's certainly a better colour choice.
The previous shade seemed to look washed out very quickly.
I think they probably did, but this is the only repainted example which works.
Of the older stock, only 4405 works (and that's very recent) and I don't think the four 17 plates which arrived from Leicester are compliant either.

of the 4 x 17 plates, they did have NSA fitted but it seldom worked properly.
Well 4448 has just returned to service on 38 today after eight days VOR. Be interesting to see if it now works.

Some service changes to the Derby network from the end of October according to bus times. Timetables seem to appear on the arriva website, although there is no summary of the changes published yet.
Not sure if there will be less interworking? 20 looks to drop to every 40 minutes at peak times and not be interworked with x38, but may interwork off peak? The Sunday evening service also looks to finish 3 hours earlier at 20.10. more early trips start on Spondon instead of Derby.
