Maybe some of the singles are going first and allows for the 1's and 38 to be fully decker operated.4536 and 4540 appear to be the latest ex hopper bus e400s to be painted into the new arriva livery at Derby.
Have any more Gemini's departed yet?

A couple of versas I think, but probably wrong?Have any single deckers left Tamworth since the arrival of the new E200s?

- 2959, 2976, 2977, 2978, 2980 I believe
Also 2535 (Former Shrewsbury Solo) has transferred to Milton Keynes, and a couple of 61 plate Versas have moved from Shrewsbury to Telford those two being 2944/45
Certainly didn’t see that one coming! Surely there would be an afternoon journey for workers finishing their shifts?A few changes to some services from the 24th of October, including extending the 04:55 (previously 05:00) 158 service from Earl Shilton to Bermuda Park in Nuneaton! A whole new timetable will also be in place for the 158.

Leicestershire & Warwickshire Bus Service Updates Oct 26
From 24 October 2026 there will be minor revisions to some services in Leicestershire and Warwickshire.www.arrivabus.co.uk
Officers have arrested a man after a bus was stolen and driven into multiple vehicles in Telford this evening (Friday 18 September).
At around 6.37pm officers were called to Court Street in Madeley following reports that a bus driver had been assaulted by a man. During the assault, the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The bus was then driven along Park Way towards the High Street, driving on the wrong side of the road and colliding with multiple vehicles.
The vehicle was eventually stopped, and officers were able to arrest a man, aged in his 20s, on suspicion of robbery and dangerous driving. He remains in police custody while enquiries continue.
The bus driver was treated for minor injuries by paramedics, and no one else is believed to have been injured during the incident.
Detective Sergeant Taigh Lannie said: “We understand this will have been an alarming incident for those in the area this evening. I’d like to reassure the community that officers responded quickly and a man has been arrested and remains in police custody.
“Our enquiries are continuing and we’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or may have footage that could assist us. In particular, we’d ask anyone with dashcam, CCTV, mobile phone or doorbell footage from the Court Street, Park Way or High Street areas around the time of the incident to please check their recordings and contact police.”
Anyone witnesses are asked to contact police by emailing TelfordCID@westmercia.police.uk quoting incident number 379i of 18 September, 2026.
That's the trouble with this broken beyond repair country nowadays, the brainless in life think they can do anything because they know they'll just get a slap on the wrist.
We are making some improvements to the Tamworth bus network from Saturday 31 October.
Several services are being revised to better reflect customer demand. Some low-use journeys and services will be withdrawn, including Service 4 and Service 10, while evening and weekend timetables on several routes will be adjusted.
Service 5 will be extended to Silver Link, providing new links to Amington and Kerria and giving customers in the area a seven-day service. Frequency won’t change, although Sundays will reduce to hourly. Service 6 will also be extended via Leyland Road, creating direct links for residents to Polesworth, Nuneaton and Ventura Park.
New Service 9 will connect Tamworth with Amington Garden Village via Amington Road, Monday to Saturday between 09:30 and 15:30. Service 765 will increase to an hourly off-peak frequency via Ventura Park and Dunstall Park and creating new links for customers in Lichfield. Whittington Barracks will no longer be served apart from existing school journeys. Most X65 journeys will be adjusted to depart five minutes later, whilst we are also introducing an hourly Sunday service between Tamworth and Lichfield.

You’d think! Seems they’ve gotten rid of the 22:50 Nuneaton - Earl Shilton trip though, so from the looks of it the morning one was the only trip with enough layover to add an extension to.Certainly didn’t see that one coming! Surely there would be an afternoon journey for workers finishing their shifts?
Perhaps they think they'll pick up a few early starters on the extended section as well as the existing section, but by the time the shifts end, they'll be competing with Stagecoach's existing routes.Certainly didn’t see that one coming!
