Just had logos put on so far, I’d hope there’s more of a livery to come though, looks quite bland as it is.Has the repainted Temsa been branded yet? The second should arrive in a few days currently at MRC in new colours.

You can have Yorkshire's Streetdecks if you want, Yorkshire have been wanting to get rid of them for a while.
I think they should have the Enviro 200MMCs that Derby are getting.. EventuallyFrom what I have heard Tamworth are due 8 new E200 MMCs very soon.
The 11 BYDs for the 110 due later in the year. As mentioned upthread there is more work required to install the charging infrastructure, but it is still happening.
Two deckers from Derby are on loan as they are operating summer services to Drayton Manor and Twycross zoo.
Excellent as the single decker fleet isn’t in the best of shape anymore either. I wonder what they will replace? I would have thought most likely the versas. Although there are a few pulsars with corroded chassis now. From what I have heard Tamworth are due 8 new E200 MMCs very soon.

Oh yes bit more info on Derby’s ADLs, supposedly 4/5 4Cyls coming & the rest will be 6cyls… so assume some mini ones will arrive for 5s, 6s/7s & 8s.I think they should have the Enviro 200MMCs that Derby are getting.. Eventually
Would be nice to have some seasonal services running from Derby (obviously the X80 has just launched) but a service to Twycross or any zoo would probably be well used from Derby…From what I have heard Tamworth are due 8 new E200 MMCs very soon.

You say this like every chassis doesn’t corrode… the versas will probably be in a worser state than the VDLs.. but can’t see any Citaros going, so imagine it’ll probably be Versas & any pre 2010 VDLs.Excellent as the single decker fleet isn’t in the best of shape anymore either. I just find even the VDLs are a better ride, than certain Enviro 200MMCsOh yes bit more info on Derby’s ADLs, supposedly 4/5 4Cyls coming & the rest will be 6cyls… so assume some mini ones will arrive for 5s, 6s/7s & 8s.

Personally I cannot wait for derbys VDLs to go, much preferred the Scanias…
Arriva seem to be focussing on removing non-standard vehicles from their operations which would suggest it will be Citaros that are displaced (whether that is for onward sale or scrap).Oh yes bit more info on Derby’s ADLs, supposedly 4/5 4Cyls coming & the rest will be 6cyls… so assume some mini ones will arrive for 5s, 6s/7s & 8s.

If , as it appears, some off the Enviro 200MMCs were shorter ones, it may well happenWill some of Derby’s streetlites get displaced?
Unless they just move to the other routes to displace Pulsars which they already do at times anyway. If , as it appears, some off the Enviro 200MMCs were shorter ones, it may well happen
Hope not. Easy to dodge them at the moment. That said, I caught a Streetlite on the Derby 8 the other day.Unless they just move to the other routes to displace Pulsars which they already do at times anyway.
Tamworth now have yx72oef. It’s on the 110 this morning
is this a loan or permanent?Tamworth now have yx72oef. It’s on the 110 this morning
It’s most likely long term loan to cover for the ones on the summer services or you never know until the new vehicles arrive hopefully later on this year.is this a loan or permanent?
I assume by 100 new battery powered totems they just mean that they’re replacing some that don’t have info screens with ones that do. Maybe the figures are also being counted by including things like installing permanent totems along the bus route to Thorpebury, which only has temporary bus stops at the minute?![]()
New buses and totems on the way as part of Leicester investment
Totems with real-time displays will be "prioritised" at locations with higher demand.www.bbc.co.uk
Leicester to get nearly 200 new bus totems - haven't we not long had new ones?
Yes, that's a possibility. Hopefully not just replacing the ones that are only a few years old otherwise it seems a bit of a waste of money.I assume by 100 new battery powered totems they just mean that they’re replacing some that don’t have info screens with ones that do. I read it as extra not replacement and it explicitly references the wider Flexi area (which is proposed to become part of Leicester City as part of the extended boundaries) rather than simply staying inside the city boundary so as well as new housing estates at Thorpebury & Ashton Green (& possibly Broadnook north of Birstall currently being built) you have stops in areas like Birstall, Anstey, Thurcaston etc which haven't been fully replaced yet.Yes, that's a possibility. I make it around 23ish. By the time the Meloe Brace P&R ceases, but including the 437 which isn't yet publicised anywhere. What is Shrewsbury's PVR now and after the changes?
That said even still all vehicles need to be compliant by what October? (I’m not fully clued up) a lot of Derbys VDLs have had them fitted too.The Citaros have/are being fitted with Next Stop equipment as I understand it. Despite claims they will be withdrawn soon, they remain newer than other single deckers at Tamworth (save a few Pulsars) so perhaps will in fact be kept on?
no, it’ll only be a small number of ADLs coming so it’ll probably be to make the 6s/7s midis full time (they don’t have enough StreetLites to cover everything as is). Will some of Derby’s streetlites get displaced?
In fairness the streetlites aren’t bad, a few have had the ‘micro-hybrid’ systems replaced with the typical air system, it makes them a hell of a lot more tolerable… they aren’t the most reliable tho, seem to have a lot of problems with air compressors.Hope not. Easy to dodge them at the moment. That said, I caught a Streetlite on the Derby 8 the other day.

Shrewsbury, Telford and Tamworth service changes are now online too (I can knock Arriva for many things, but providing service change notices over a month early is very positive and should be commended).
Shrewsbury:
In short, Shrewsbury FC routes are finished.![]()
Service revisions in Shrewsbury

11 is cut on Fridays to every 20 minutes (Mon-Thurs remain every 15)
X10 shorts are being cut due to low usage (strange as I thought these were to ensure all the college kids got to the college. What will happen in September? Surely all the college kids still need to get there somehow?
A few minor route and timetable changes in response to increase traffic thanks to Shropshire Councils world leading traffic creation scheme.
Plus of course the well publicised tender losses.

65A tender lost. Sunday 76B & 785/786 tenders won
I make it around 23ish. By the time the Meloe Brace P&R ceases, but including the 437 which isn't yet publicised anywhere.
Arriva are due to lose some routes (23, 26 and the 64) to a new Chaserider division called ‘Hotspur’ based in Shrewsbury: https://www.facebook.com/Chaserider...BubdRfhBZYBWAEFtr7z5he5nRUP1fs83fVwYMEyaBAhnl
I’d imagine that some buses will be moved to other depots as a result of this, so Tamworth could receive some newer second hand vehicles when the changes take place in September.
Thought it was Solos (from locals) and Versas (P&R)What would become available at Shrewsbury to cascade?
