Worth documenting that recently introduced service X6 from Leicester to Coventry (taken on following the demise of Travel de Courcey) had temporarily been operated out of Thurmaston garage but as of yesterday has passed to Wigston depot control, operated from its outstation at Hinckley.

Their first day on the route saw Enviro 200's 3105 and 3106 doing the honours.

Nope, Coalville is Thurmaston's outstation.

Barwell is effectively an outstation of Wigston, with vehicles swapping between the 2 on a daily basis.

That's right. It was formerly its own entity but then the engineering was moved to Wigston a while ago, so is their outstation but does have it's own local management.

Various journeys that had been changed to 'closed services' (ie school/college students only) in Staffordshire are to be operated by coach companies including Silverdale Coaches, South Staffs Coach Hire, Vectare Coaches and Johnson coaches from Monday.

I believe this is the same in Derby as it was reported else where that a Skill's coach was seen with S38 in the windscreen which is the school service for Sapphire 38.

Quite likely as Skills have been running a number of schools in Leicester for First Group so obviously something they're quite keen on and have resource for.
