different take on the tram-bus theme from Alstom.

12m length bus, but with fully steerable wheel at each corner.

driver cab at front; bench seat in false cab at rear; otherwise, 100% low floor with 2 or 3 double doors, and seating configured tram-style.

95 passenger capacity (likely approx 30 seated, 65 standing)

70 kph top speed.

Battery power with 200 km range - using overnight charging of 6 hours plus 5 minutes top-up at change-round.

Key point being that similar capacity is offered to a Van Hool style bendy tram-bus, but shorter and without the joins due to all-wheel steering,

reckon to have a whole-life cost similar to diesel bus - due to longer service life and higher reliability.

Did this thing appear on 1st April? Driveline and steering set-up would be interesting as would loading per tyre. Otherwise, innovative concept.
