Clearing out my warehouse and have stumbled across an APT track-transponder, the large item that goes in the 4' to communicate with APT trains as to their speed and location.

This particular unit is in great shape and bears the markings D125 and has the transponder still fitted.

Any interested parties please let me know before she gets scrapped, it will fit in a small car and is a very special piece of APT heritage.

Cost is free. Delivery between Manchester and Crewe also free.

It's around 50mm thick, 600mm wide and 1100mm long? One man can carry it, it's made of a very thick and strong resin type material.

Earliest I can meet is in the new year, my office is in Crewe so it wouldn't be a problem..? Off to Scotland in the morning in search of ice climbing!
