Apprenticeship training for TOC employees

I was just wondering for those that have joined the railway recently in operational roles, has your TOC enroled you into an apprenticeship scheme? Was it optional or compulsory? Were the assessments and material relevant to you or your role?

We have had a number of issues with members trying to set up duplicate accounts in this forum.
