applying for another job whilst in talent pool

Hi

What I want to ask is, can I apply for another job with northern in the form of the gateline assistant job that has just been put up on the Northern site at Leeds without it affecting my current conductor application which in currently in a talent pool for until July.

I would then intended to stay in this job until I was offered the conductor job or stay in the job if I'm not offered it.

I just want to get into the industry.

Andrew have you informed recruitment that you are willing to take conductor vacancies elsewhere if the need arises?

Yes mate and have got no response regarding it.

I posed a question regarding taking on another roll a week ago and was told someone was getting back in touch with me and they haven't.

Its not the fact that I'm not willing to wait for the Skipton vacancy, its just that I'm willing to do something as a stop gap until the vacancy comes up and even this isn't guaranteed.

Don't know what to do tbh.

After alot of pondering I have decided not to bother and sit it out regarding Conductor Pool.
