Applying for another job while in the pool

I'm currently in the pool for station staff, I have noticed an opportunity for a conducter role has came up.
Can I apply for that without it affecting my status in the pool for station crew?

If it was me, I would apply.

Hi Gary,

If you get offered the role it will make you’re previous pool position invalid and you will be removed from that first pool. I’d just sit tight with you’re pool position.

Yeah Im kind of thinking the same thing. Maybe being a conducter would be better if I did some time on the station first and learnt how things operate.
