Applied Customer Sales Assistant role Barnstable.

have just applied for Customer Sales Assistant role in Barnstable, so looking for advice and help in all aspects of getting through the various stages?, what be Helpful read up on? How best improve chances of getting the role? thanks for any help and advice. I have not worked on railways before.but always wanted to work on the railways.

Only advice I can offer is its Barnstaple not Barnstable

Barnstaple station has a special place in my heart. Since using it first in 1999, I've seen this part of the Tarka Line grow and grow.
Over the past few years it's had an increase in passenger traffic, which not all branch lines can say.

I think there's a lot of opportunity in this role. Last time I was in town they were even getting Ticket office staff to dispatch trains- it was that busy!

As for practical ways to pass the interview, just stick with the STAR system and mention your soft-selling skills, previous customer service experience and keep a few scenarios in mind. Examples include: When you've given excellent customer service or when you've dealt with a difficult customer.
It shouldn't be a difficult interview but always prepare.
