application with south west trains

Hi all I've applied for a job online with south west trains as a gateline assistant on the 23/1/15 they have sent an email back saying that they have recieved my application and are In the process of matching their requirements against my application and I will hear from them shortly,basically I'm wondering if anybody has a rough estimate of how much time it normally takes for them to reply as to whether they will be taking my application further or not.

SWT are notoriously slow in replying to job applications, and then informing you of your progress through the process. Give them a call once a week, and try and speak to the same person in recruitment.

I spoke to south western regarding my application for the role of gateline assistant and they said they were still waiting to screen my application so it's a case of holding on and fingers crossed
