Application process

Hi all, I recently applied for a trainee driver job at Manchester, the opening was mon-fri but they took it down Tuesday night. I think this is because of the volume of applicants, my question is on my portal it said “application in process” and now it says “application under consideration” are these statuses a reliable guide on how your application is going. Thanks

I’ve had them still say Application in Process over a year later. Sometimes and some train operators update you and the portal, and at others you hear nothing. Hopefully you will have applied to the former

I had application in process for around 8 months on my first application and then the vacancy was unfortunately withdrawn. Second time round I had application in process for 2 months then invited to interview. A month later I had my psychometrics but I’ve been application on hold for the past 6 months. It’s a slow process and you need a lot of patience.
