Application - Awaiting Shortlisting Process?

Hello All,

I have applied for the Clerical Officer (Grade 1/2) for First ScotRail. The closing date was first set to October 20, then extended to October 29. The Application Status for the job on my career center is "Awaiting shortlisting" I'm wondering if anyone knows how long the shortlisting process takes to be completed.

This all depends on the proposed start date and the amount of applicants, the TOC's I have worked for do not reply to applicants unless they have been successful with the short listing process

So if I get rejected what will it say on the career center section?

There will be "Unsuccessful" or "Invite to Assessment" on the status.

An automated email will be sent out too.
