Which I did. I have no problem with Windows and still use it regularly.
I just wanted something that I knew how to use and everything.

But after reading up on the MacBook, checking the specs, watching the guided tour, etc, it seemed to perfectly suit my needs.

Getting used to a new OS didn't seem as much of a problem anymore.


After using the MacBook from the 27th of December, some things can still be a little confusing, but I'm pretty confident that I know what I'm doing now. And that things that confuse me are only stupid things like shortcuts.

I wouldn't say that I like the Mac OS more than Windows. Nor would I say that I liked Windows more than the Mac OS.

EDIT: I said I wanted Windows because I'd never used a Mac before. Not because I had and I didn't know how to use it.

That's how Apple get their sales. Cos people see Apple as a fashion item, they don't care if it works or not. They just think they look cool with a apple with a bite taken of it

Apple turnovers are rather decent.

I don't know - it's a cunning tactic by them if nothing else, to try to encourage sales by look. Given that most of the public see a computer as a beige box that sits under the desk, them trying to sell it based on looks seems to have turned quite a few heads and increased the popularity of Macs.

It's hardly a secret that people buy things that look nice. If they didn't I'd still have my old Nokia 3210 and would be driving some old Lada...
