Heads up to anyone that may have parked at Kent stations on New Years Day.......(and from a discussion in a football thread - it's not the first time!)
I parked in Maidstone East car park on New Years Day to go to football, the tariff says it should be £3.50 for Public Holidays, unfortunately the app was charging the normal daily price of £6.90.
I left it 10 days incase Apcoa realised their mistake and set off automatic refunds.......oh yee of little faith.....I then submitted a refund request - this was responded to in 48 hours "Here's your refund....." no questions asked. I did enquire as to whether they why they did not do it automatically as it was clearly a mass overcharge......their response "we can't discuss other customers payments" and closed the ticket.
I did check another random Kent Station and it was also showing the normal day rate........
