Anytime Return, some trains unavailable on return leg

If the attached screenshot works, can anyone advise why the 11:53 from Taunton on 22/5 isn’t available to book in tandem with the 09:48 from Hereford on 18/5? Presumably it isn’t fully booked as it is available in tandem with other services from Hereford on 18/5?

I have already booked my inbound connection from Paignton and the 11:53 would be the ideal one for my onward journey back to Hereford. Even though it doesn’t show as bookable would I be okay to get it on an Anytime Return?

Without knowing the interchange points it's hard to say. I can't tell quite what trains it's recommending. That said is it possible that it's a route not normally permitted/permitted only with split tickets or advances?

I have just checked Trainsplit using the app and it is available, so I don't know why you can't get it.

Why do you think this isn't available? This is taken directly from your link. Are you getting confused by the 11:53 being shown on two separate lines of the grid?

Oops, by jove you’re right . I would swear that wasn’t there yesterday, but as it’s a screenshot I must confess I just didn’t notice it. Oh well, thanks that resolves the issue.
