Anyone used scheduled Merseyrail RRB's?

Do the trains have 'high quality wifi' on them? If not, the RRBs are displaying their superiority aren't they?

WiFi is available at the underground stations, but not on the trains themselves.

Also the Arriva WiFi doesn't work when going through the tunnel.

Ironically when the RRB's will enter service on normal bus routes they will be on routes that don't go near railway lines!

The new rolling stock (Stadler) is to be wifi enabled, so here's to 2020! :lol:

Or sometimes doesn't work at all (Moorfields a hit and a miss on the northern platforms).

FWIW road traffic through the Kingsway tunnel has been QUIETER this week than normal. I usually transit westward around 8AM and return around 6PM most days and the queues have been noticeably shorter since Christmas.
I don't know if this is because the kids are still off school, or whether people are making alternative arrangements during the railworks. I suspect a lot of commuters are tending to take the long way round for now
