Part of a small collection of pictures taken in early August 1996 , includes Southminster "flask" and a few bits at Kensington and Bedfordshire. One more recent addition is 66213 at Paddington on last week's "Concrete Cow" tour.

I was just thinking that - had NedRailways not adopted the Abellio branding, that could have been returning to East Anglia.

I remember commenting at the time that it was a pity NS didn't reciprocate by painting one of their units into NSE livery!

That would be rather surreal! Having an NS liveried unit to Harwich then an NSE coloured one from the Hook
