HelpfindAdrian: DB Cargo UK and Pathfinder Tours launch search to find thwarted train fan
An appeal has been made to the online community to help find the man whose video of an iconic rail service was blighted by another passing train.
Poised to capture images of a rare ‘Tees and Durham Freighter’ excursion, rail enthusiast Adrian Craig’s shot was ruined when another service sped past and blocked his view.
Adrian had been trying to film the iconic Pathfinder Tours service, hauled by rail freight operator DB Cargo UK, as it passed through Billingham in Teesside.
The unlucky interruption was reported on by a number of national and local newspapers, prompting colleagues at DB Cargo UK and Pathfinder Tours to secure Adrian a ticket on a charter service as an early Christmas present.
But attempts to find Adrian’s contact details and get in touch with him have so far been fruitless and an appeal has now been launched on Twitter to #HelpfindAdrian.
DB Cargo UK and Pathfinder Tours are asking people to help them contact Adrian by sharing the message on social media or getting in touch if they know him personally.
