Hi.
Just wondered if anyone had been for the signaller aptitude tests this year in manchester and if so, if anyone would be kind enough to email me the practice bits so I can get swatting up in anticipation.
Thanks in advance

What vacancy you gone for buddy?

There's a recent thread on here about the assessments, might be worth a read up, give it a search.

The tests are quite difficult without practice and or knowledge. If you get an email saying just to focus on the TEA test, ignore it and go through the whole booklet. The Lift sounds can be daunting too, i remember when i attended an assessment in Bristol, some of the other candidates struggled with the tones and how to count them. Also make sure you brush up on your maths as i sadly failed on the speed and time test.

Best of luck

When did you do them? Hubby did them a couple of moths ago and there was no maths. Which is good as I'm terrible at maths. Unfortunately he deleted his email so can't use his practice tests

Network rail will send you the booklet when you get the invite.
The Maths tests i did with the rest of them was only just last month, which was called the speed and times test where you have to calculate the time it takes to get from A to B as such. You get questions like, How long will it take for a rural train to get from B to F Via c. and you have to calculate it on its speed and distance as such.
