Anyone Any Experience Technika LCD TVs

I need a new TV for My bedroom & I've got a bit of Xmas cash burning a hole in my pocket Technika Range in Tesco's looks quite good , but as It is a minority make , I was wondering about the reliability of them ,So I was wondering if Anyone had Any Experience of them , my only previous experience personally of the brand was a web cam

Techi-whatever sell inferior products. When it comes to electrical products, stick with the brands who know what they're doing.

I've got one. It broke within 6 months abd was a waste of £250 (or the equivalent in Nectar points). Stick with good brands, as RJ has said.

No, because it was bought in Sainsbury's :razz:

They didn't do too much either, because it had a 3 month warranty and faffed about saying that, because I'd used Nectar points alone in the purchase, it could only be exchanged for Sainsbury's/Nectar vouchers anyway. Useless. (They'd stopped selling it by that point).

You Could be thinking of a different brand Sainsburys Do one Called Technosound, 32inch for £299 same size from Tescos Technika brand is £359 both have built in Freeview

Plenty of 32" LCDs going for £400 at the moment. Goodmans had one that price before the sales in Comet.

My experience with Technika in general is not that good: memory card reader - BSOD, wireless desktop/mouse - mouse started to have a life of its own.

Well I have seen a Sharp or Thosh on Amaozon for 399 (32") , would not touch Goodmans either from personal Bad experince

Personally i think Sony lead the TV market by some way atm. Its more money but they are so reliable you win in the end. Ive currently got a panasonic Viesa, nearly 2 years old now but only my second tv in 21 years!

Ended Up going with the Sharp HD 32" with built in Free-view & Top Up TV Slot, I have three other Sharp products 2 VCR & 1 CRT TV & all are ten years plus & still going strong

I've a 26" and 32" philips lcd telly's, also got a 19" samsung one, no problems with any of them, the 32" was around about a grand when we bought it but now theyre much cheaper, i got my 26" for £399.99 and the samsung for £199.99 - both in argos

Well My Sharp was a real Bargain I paid £379 on line My Local Richer Sounds are asking £549 for same set
