anybody drive for megabus?

hi guys anyone on here drive for megabus?
its what im looking at doing next although im really struggling to find any info on how to apply
I have my licence and cpc
if anyone can put a word in at Manchester pm me and I will give you some details

I don't think you can work for Megabus. I think you've have to work for Stagecoach Manchester and be put on to Megabus routes.

I've chatted to a lot of the megabus drivers on the London to Cardiff route and they are all Stagecoach bus drivers who volunteer for megabus. Some do just megabus, others drive local Stagecoach South Wales services as well.

I would imagine it's the same system nationwide

They are currently recruiting for both UK and European work, although I think they are looking for drivers with suitable experience of this type of work. I'm not sure if the advert was only an internal one, or if it has been advertised out with the Stagecoach Group. Probably worth searching for a contact number at Rugby depot, and giving them a call.

You do know that Megabus is part of the Stagecoach Group.

Think I'd prefer touring vs express work. At least you get to see more interesting places then London and back.

Personally I'd say that if you can't find any contacts or job adverts - apply speculatively. Both my jobs in the coach industry have resulted from speculative applications and it's worth considering that we (as an industry) seem to always have a shortfall of drivers. Make yourself a good candidate and at the very least you'll be thrown in towards the top of the pile when the next recruitment drive comes up, at best you'll be given a job on the basis that they'll find you work because they want keen & committed drivers!

yes im just a normal bus driver so today I will be ringing stagecoach as the depot is 2 mins from my home and try to worm in that way
