Any two character coach labels?

I noticed this display. The usual thing scrolling right to left. In this case the A is static then followed by a space before the edge of the scrolling message. Is this space reserved for something or just always blank? Are there any labels for coaches with more than one character?

Just designed so that visually the scrolling message doesn’t clash with the static letter.

Don't Japanese trains use two character coach labels? The software is likely similar or the same as used on Hitachi trains there.

There are no 2-character coach labels. The reservation system supports

A-Z coach labels
00 to 99 seats
A-Z seat suffixes

In the format
A00A
