Any recommendation for good video cameras?

Ive decided to forgo the idea of getting an iPhone and since my current camera takes perfectly adequate pictures (I don't have the money for an SLR and would rather not have to carry one around) I have decided to instead buy an actual video camera, then I will have a good camera for photographs, and a good camera for video, rather than a jack of all trades.

I will probably be able to spend £100-150, preferring to stay towards the lower end of that if I can. The format that the camera records in isn't particularly important however WMV would be ideal. I'm basically looking for something with good, clear, stable image quality and the most important thing of all, a good Microphone. I want to be able to record footage from inside a train (or bus) and be able to hear every thump, clunk and bump, and in particular sounds of a low frequency like AC hum.

If anyone has any recommendation please let me know, I am hoping to purchase by the end of this month.

I quite like my £50 one, but it doesn't have much memory on its own, I use a 4GB SD Card in it :)

Since September 2008 i have been using the Sony DCR HC51E it cost about £130 i think.

It uses mini DV tapes and it is very good at reproducing the exact colours that you are recording and is fast at zooming.

I've been looking into getting the Toshiba Camileo S10. Seems like a decent little camera and not a bad price either.

Alex, that camera you linked to, nice wee thing - microphone sounds good too. How do you get the film off the tapes and into the computer?

I use Pinnacle studio 11 to edit my videos and i capture using the dazzle capture device that comes with it. I capture in MPEG-2 quaility 6MB per second 25 frames per second and a resolution of 720x576 PAL standard.

I upload to youtube in MPEG-4 with a bitrate of 512kbs
