Any interest in a rail grade explanation post?

I'm not sure how many people realise there are lots of different grades of steel that can be used for railway rails. Each of them has its merits. Is there enough interest for me to put together a brief explanation of some of them? As I'm from the manufacturing end of the supply chain I'm not 100% sure what the awareness of grades is in the people actually using the rails.

Yes please... I work for a large US firm in the UK and often get involved in specification of materials - got my head sufficiently around stainless steels, aluminiums, grades, finishes, anodising, corrosion etc but never quite got my head into non stainless as I've never needed to.
