What I know so far is that there are 3 feeder stations: Barking, Sellinge, Singlewell. Of which, Barking is a single supply.
I also think there might have been a fourth FS at St Pancras (off Corsica Street neutral section) but is no longer?
I found this article from UKPN about a major renewal carried out on HS1's power system some time in the last 5 years which included some fancy power electronics at those 3 feeder stations.
It also says there are 20 ATSs which is what I'd like to know more about. I've poked around on Google Earth trying to find them but it became a bit too unclear for me especially in Kent as it can be easy to mistake them for all sorts of other things.
So far I have:
St Pancras (the former FS becomes an ATS?), Stratford, Ferry Hill, Tank Hill Road, Galley Hill (first over the river), Old Chatham Road (near-ish Maidstone) and Southfleet on the Hook Green branch
Does anyone know what the others are?
