Any former/present Eurotunnel train drivers?

Hello everybody. I have passed my assessments and have been offered a job at Eurotunnel as a train driver trainee. Of course I have to pass my medical and security checks aswell as complete my training.
However my question/s are about the job itself. I hope that someone who has done it can answer some of my questions.
1. Is there a shift pattern or is it just one shift you get to do?
2. If there is a shift pattern is it different shift every week?
3. Do you drive trains every day or have to do other duties aswell (if so how often)?
4. It seems like they advertise and recruit quite often as they needed 24 in 2014 and now 24 in 2016 again... That perhaps indicates that people leave?
5. Can you upgrade to mainline within Eurotunnel in any way?
I understand that Eurotunnel workers are required no to share any information at all but my questions are simply about the nature of the work.
I hope taht somebody can help me

Well I probably won't be able to help with these questions as I don't work for Eurotunnel but thought id say congrats on your new position and good luck with your medical and training
Questions 1 and 2 are good to ask in the managers interview (weather you've had it yet or not?) as interviewers like questions as it shows your interest
Question 3 should have been in the job description, and if not then again this is a good question to ask in the interview otherwise its like signing a contract without reading the small print
Question 4 id have thought is a case of trying to increase their service as I think over the last few years there has been a increase in demand
Question 5 it will be mainline work, unless you mean Eurostar in which case it will just be a case of keeping an eye on Eurostar's recruitment page as I don't think the two companies are directly linked

I do realise that I should have asked about many things when interviewed however stress blocked me and I never really did.
I am positive about it anyway and feel like this is something I definitely want to do.
Companies quite often do not tell you about things in detail so thats why I thought it would be a good idea to ask.
When I said Mainline I meant that skills you learn at Eurotunnel are not transferable when leaving. You do not get the mainline licence (if I am correct) so you can only drive the eurotunnel trains.

Unfortunately you aren't seen as a qualified main line driver by UK tocs and if you wanted to transfer you would have to start as a trainee driver. The same also applies to tube and tram drivers.
