Inverness Airport railway station (opened earlier in 2023) is close to the site of the former Dalcross railway station (closed 1965), so is really a re-opening.

Similarly, Southampton Airport Parkway is on the same site (or very close to) Atlantic Park Hostel Halt, which closed 37 years before Southampton Airport station opened
