IMHO all DOO trains should stop at the far end of any platform to reduce the stop short incidents
Then either the stop board is in the wrong place and should be moved, or it's very worrying if the driver doesn't know how many cars they're controlling! At the moment I agree, but if they put in the proper cameras it would be fine. AFAIK Hatfield didn't have a big problem with accidents relating to this, what about all the other FCC locations that still have them?
Perhaps there should be a stop short indicator next to the DOO screens - maybe some sort of beam that is broken when a train is present placed before the platform?
