HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all

I've uploaded a lot of shots from around London today including Euston, Kings X and some more from Stratford. I've used some more unusual camera angles in this gallery to try and keep things fresh.

I figured that they wouldn't be to everybody's taste Just added them because I felt they add a weird dynamic feel to some of the shots... and 'cause I enjoyed taking them

According to Digital Camera magazine deliberately wonky shots are very in apparently....

Amazing as usual I like the wonky angles. And if others don't, at least you're trying something different. Rather than the boring usual 3/4 shot.

I stumbled across that the other day.... and all I can say is.... thank you to everybody who nominated and voted!! You are all amazingly kind and I am extremely appreciative. Can't remember the last time I won something so it has come as a brilliant surprise!! Thank you!!

I'm in the process of uploading some more, so check back in half an hour and there will be a few more on the site. I shot 130 today in between trying to get between various locations so am processing them from RAW as I get time this evening.

Every time I go out to photograph stuff I keep thinking I will bump into some of you... but never have yet. Any of you going on the Oozlum Bird 2 railtour on the 9th Feb?

Just out of interest how did it get the name 'Wall of death' ?

Apparently its with the sharp curves and steep gradients on the loop. There's a site somehwere which has a list of nicknames for particular lines and how they got them.

wall of death must be between sutton and west sutton then (even on quail maps), mostley covered in moss now. like the photos witht the angles, the one with the 315 made me feel a bit sea sick.
