Does anyone have the latest London-Calais fares? Last fare I was told was £25.65 with a railcard. Is this still up-to-date?

Looking to travel from Cambridge to Calais, via HS1, on a Saturday. So the cheapest option appears to be:
1. CBG-1072 Super Off Peak Return £10.55
2. 1072-H426 £25.65
3. HS1 Upgrade £3.55

Total £39.75, unless anyone can suggest anything cheaper without using booked train only fares.

Also, has anyone found a way of buying these remotely yet (e.g. through a telesales service)?

Does anybody know what CBG, 1072, or H426 are?

I've never heard about these before. How do they work and all that (can't see anything useful on BRFares)

No, I think that's the best you can do. I've also looked into making this day trip from Cambridge to Calais before and couldn't find anything cheaper.

Brucey, please do not use three letter codes or NLC codes without stating at least once where they refer to.

Thank you.

Why not a general reminder rather than a personal public rebuke?

Because it is already in the forum rules, so everyone should know about it.

This is the same approach consistently applied to every breach of this nature. Part of the purpose is that it serves as a reminder to all forum members.
