Another 442 Fire?

Just on a Southern train to Woolston and Bognor held at Redhill, and the guard just announced that the delay was due to a train on fire at Gatwick... another 442 decided to spontaneously barbeque itself?

Nope, no bacon this time.

Smoke coming from beneath a freight train at Three Bridges, possibly smoking sleepers. Current off and emergency services are on the scene. No services running through at the moment.

6N35 the working, I believe.

UPDATE 17:31 - power back on, trains running again, 2C92 first through, just arrived at Three Bridges. 6N35 has just departed too continuing down to Eastleigh presumably.

Flared up again at Hove but dealt with by the train crew.

Heard reports that 66001 was the loco involved

I had heard the same, but 66151 was leading this working, although the loco itself wasn't responsible or affected by the fire.

66001 was elsewhere today (Bricklayers Jn - Hoo Jn).
