I was at Alderley Edge station yesterday and both the ticket machines were working, but showing completely different fares.
The machine to the left (as you were looking at them) was showing an off peak day return to Manchester for £9.50, yet the machine on the right was showing the same ticket for £8.50.
Could this be a an error following the machines being hacked the other week?
I mentioned it to the ticket office and was told that the correct fare was £9.50, and the other machine "should have been switched off".
