I can save you time by saying go back to Kings Cross.

Absolutely agreed. That’s horrendous and should not have been issued as such - standard orange stock would have been a better choice!
Thanks both. Won't be able to get to KGX until I travel to Scotland on the 5th of August, hopefully I can use it ok up until then. If I'm forced to buy any bus tickets before then would I have any means of getting a refund?

Keep any receipts and send them over to LNER customer services if you're charged - it's entirely their problem you've got a ticket on the wrong stock.

Given the slight delay, I’d be tempted to email Customer Services in the interim setting out this expectation.

Ok I will compose an email to them later - is customers@lner.co.uk the correct one?
The other thing is B&H buses are TOTO mostly so getting a receipt/paper ticket is a bit of a faff.

I hope this finds you well.

I have take a look at the ticket and that should be fine to use on the bus and should be accepted , if you do have any issues please don't hesitate to contact us and we would be happy to help.

Terrible customer service from LNER.

They do need to fix their error.
