How do i get this replaced, yesterday i asked at Marylebone and they said i would need to pay a £20 fee and they would give me a reference number and receipt then i would need to contact the refund department to see if my application had been processed. (I don't want my ticket refunded).

I thought i had to pay a £10 admin fee and they would reprint it, i want to note the Oyster is not missing, it's only the paper record gold card that is.

I suspect there may have been a misunderstanding as to what was required. As far as I am aware, it isn't possible to issue a replacement for a lost Gold Record Card.

My advice would be to give the Oyster helpdesk a ring and see if they can assist.

If that is the case, the recommendation must surely be *always* to purchase a Gold Card in paper format.

Convenience factor outweighs the potential loss resulting from a missing Gold Record Card I would think for many.

It seems I'm mistaken. I've just found this page on the TfL site. It states the following towards the bottom of the page:

Transport for London said:
If you have lost your Gold Record Card issued with an Annual Travelcard, or didn't get issued with one, call TfL customer services on 0343 222 1234 to get a replacement.
