Hi!

With Help, I'm going to make an announcement maker. This will let you make your own announcements by a certain voice (You have a choice of voices; Celia Drummond, Phil Sayer, Ruth, Anne, Boofay and the Linguatec text to voice system, plus a choice of chimes)
So I will need some help with scripting, sound files, recordings, etc.
I will also be making some announcement recordings as well.

So who's in?

Thanks,
Jim.

I would wish you luck in getting the copyright things sorted out - I also hope you have the money to do this.

I know the above may seem harsh (I'm sorry if it is so) but in reality if the little things (like (C)) are breached then you could be facing prosecution.
My second comment means that this is not going to be as cheap as you may imagine.

As others may point out it also isn't going to be easy - 'I wish you luck but for the stated reasons - I'm OUT!'

I'm out, sounds very pie in the sky, and sadly the chances of getting Ditra/Atos/Racal (the latter doesn't even exist anymore) to send you a clean set of their voice samples is practically nil.

Maybe worth a chat with the team behind the Network West Midlands routes for BVE/OpenBVE, as they not only secured permission, but also got the voiceover artist in question to record specific announcements for their own ficitonal stations.

I know the copyright thing maybe an issue, but if you ask questions first, rather than getting in trouble because you didn't, you may not find as many or such severe obstacles as suggested in the replies above.

I wish you luck.
