I want to use an Anglia Plus Ranger, but am not sure how to buy the ticket.

The website says "These tickets can be purchased on the day of travel from any staffed Greater Anglia station or from the conductor on the train if you start your journey from an unstaffed station."

However I will be using a single ticket to the edge of the Anglia Plus area (Ipswich), but want to remain on the same train to Norwich. So I wont have an opportunity to alight at Ipswich to buy the ticket. I plan to be on the Greater Anglia service 08:38 from Stratford, will there be a conductor & will he/she sell me an Anglia Plus Ranger? Is there any way to buy the ticket in advance outside Greater Anglia?

There should be a conductor on your train so just but it from them when you board.

I bought one from Hull Paragon Station TPE booking office, well out of the area, but I think they are pretty good.

Try the GA operated ticket office at Liverpool Street.

The last time I did Anglia day ranger, I found out the code on the forum and I managed to get a ticket at Watford Junction.

Yes one of my colleagues will be able to sort a ranger for you on board. 0830 ex LST is a rather busy service for conductors though so i'd jump in early with the request, we're down the 1st class end for Stratford.
