Announced this morning, the sad passing of the founder of RMWeb. As I understand it, he had been hospitalised with pneumonia for a week or so. Otherwise, a very unexpected and profound loss to the modelling community. R.I.P.

Oh that’s incredibly sad news. I had a lot of time for Andy and he’s been a great help to me at times.

Andy was/is RMWeb.
One who saw the power of internet groups to bring like-minded folks together. A place where folks respected each other's views and respected Andy's "light touch" approach to moderation.

He will be greatly missed.

Thoughts are with his family and friends.

RIP Andy.

Very sad to hear. I rarely interacted with him personally, but I've heard what a stellar chap he was and RMWeb is an absolutely a fantastic asset for the community.

Absolutely. I never met him in person but interacted with him on the forum a few times. Another relented modeller too. If you saw his Keyhaven Quay layout before he sold it on.
When someone passes away big leaves a hole in the world that leaves the rest of us trying to make sense of it. My condolences to his family and friends.

RIP Andy
