An old red Northern canvas bag

My good lady wife has just found a red canvas bag, with long shoulder-strap handles, with a white panel showing the logo of the old Northern franchise and a snowman.

Has anyone any knowledge of when these bags would have been issued?

It sounds like it's one of the bags that Northern handed out a couple of Christmas's ago. It would have included a blue Christmas hat and Chocolate coins
