Having installed TS2015 on my new computer, almost all driving routes have better graphics running smooth in real time.

But interestingly, if I go into editor, the whole processing slows down notably, even in blank new routes, where surely with nothing already there no problems would persist. Does anyone know the logic behind this oddity?

Ive always found the editor to be smoother than when you're driving. Have you send RSC an email?

Not yet, but yes that was the case with my last computer, oddly now it's the other way round

I've had a look in Steam discussions and seen a couple of posts where people have said they have the same issue, but no solution has been identified.

Do you have the RSC email address?

I've emailed them a while ago, without a proper response so far.

However, lloking around the internet to read what other people who have the issue have been saying, it seems the Google Map overlay might be a cause if on. Does anyone know if it can be switched of, as nothing seems obvious in Settings?

The Google Overlay is only present if you activate it in the editor by pressing Ctrl & G. If it's not visible, it won't be having an effect.
