In connection with the steam extravaganza this coming weekend on the NYMR A4 'Sir Nigel Gresley' was en route today in light steam from Crewe via Preston, Carnforth, Skipton, Leeds and York to Grosmont in the company of Locomotive Services Class 37 'Flopsie'. I took the photos just now at Leeds station - it was great to see the wide eyes and hanging jaws of the people on Platform 11!
