Amusing grafitti?

Hail all!
We're all no doubt familiar with the blight of grafitti right across the railway network - Especially "tagging" and other unsightly rubbish - But occasionally, grafitti can be encountered that is not only apt and amusing, but indeed could be considered a welcome thing to come across...And I was wondering whether or not I was the only person to have encountered such things whilst travelling about? 8)

To start off the thread, here's one that was reportedly observed at Fleet station several years ago - The text in italics having been added in biro:

British Rail hereby give notice that this right of way is not dedicated to the public.
Neither is British Rail!

And I also have to confess that - In my less mature days - I once scribbled the following next to the button on a class 165's hand dryer...

Press this button for a 50 second speech from Mr. Major.

On the casing of an automatic towel was the branding Advance Towelmaster. Beneath this, someone had added the following:

The graphiti on public loos disturbs me. It makes you wonder what folk get up to in there. *shudders*.

I spotted a graffiti on a wall in the Melbourne beach side suburb of Williamstown which ran the length of the wall, so about 20 meters long and the letters where about a meter high etc and it said"

"How much did this cost to clean up?"

I was tempted to go there and paint it over and then write:

"A night with your mum!"

This one used to be in massive letters on a fence by a motorway: (M40 I think)

"Why do I do this every day?"

It was there for ages, but other 'artists' must have found out how to get to the fence, and some other boring messages appeared on the fence. A few months later, the whole fence was repainted and a new message appeared:

"Why do I STILL do this every day?"

I think this graffiti has since been lost to some more stupid messages.

A yep, that one has appeared everywhere at some stage, usually along the sides of busy roads, freeways and highways etc.

My favourite is just as you come into London Bridge from Blackfriars. On the right-hand side, there's an open-fronted shed, and writ large in white paint on the back wall is the phrase:

I know it isn't funny, but there's 'I (heart) Harringay' sprayed on a wall, funnily enough near the station, and it actually struck me as quite a nice way of showing some community spirit! There are also some other messages that actually make you feel good, rather than feel intimidated and lose all respect for the area (as graffiti usually does).

In fact, I think that anything other than mindless tagging, should perhaps be encouraged (perhaps by allowing real artists access to the railway in safe conditions - i.e. when Network Rail has possession) and it would look nicer than loads of grey/blue paint that covers up the tagging.

Reminds me of one I heard about a school once over. The school in question spent a fortune refurbishing the toilets to a very high standard. Within a matter of days, written beneath each hand dryer was, 'For a brief message of welcome from the headmaster, please press the silver button.'

There are plenty of speed limit signs in glasgow and surrounding areas which are totally obscured by graphiti - i feel sorry for trainee drivers!

Others include "P45" written on the red TPWS Brake Demand light. We also ocassionally get the brake steps re-labelled as "Release", "Non-existent", "Poor", "Full Service (Not Known at Ilford)" and "Emergency - Become Driver Manager".
